Outside submersible pump running constant

Pump running constant, can't be actual pump as tryed 2 differant ones. I noticed when I messed with the plug on the pump where it goes in to the socket it stopped running constant but when one of the taps was turned on it set away constant again!!?? Any ideas? Cheers neil

could be the pressure switch needs adjustment, ( if fitted ) otherwise one of the tap micro switches has failed.

If your water system is fitted with a pressure switch Click Here to find out how to adjust it.
The pressure switch will be inside the caravan near to where the water inlet enters the caravan.
If no pressure switch is fitted the problem could be a faulty micro switch. Look for wires connected to the bottom of the taps and pull one of the connectors off. The pump will stop running if there's a short circuit on the micro switch.
Check that the caravan leisure battery is fully charged.

Reset the pressure switch following the instructions given seems ok so far fingers crossed!!!! Cheers lads
