Hi every one

Owen oven as seem to have lot the heat.

Last couple of time we used it seem to take a long time to cook any thick in it. It as stared to put use of use it with how long it tacks to cook with it.

I am now thick of get one of there to use in the caravan.

The thing is I would like to now what you thick of this oven be used in the van and would the electric hook up let me run it other with other items on .

Suite as the TV and one or two lights as well or any advise would help.

A good hookup will give you approx 3 kilowats. The oven and 2 hotplates are each 1500 watts, making a total of 4.5Kw. Thus you would not be able to use all the cooker without tripping out the electric.

Many sites have hookups with lower ratings.

Sorry, it looks a nice idea but just doesn't work.

Perhaps you should get an engineer to look at your cooker? It could be just blocked jets.

Dont want to cause concern, but we had a similar problem a few months back. It turned out that we had a gas leak from the bulkhead pipework in the front locker, which was reducing the gas presure to the oven. This was on our third time out after quite major warranty repairs to the van. On the previous 2 trips we had thought we had used a lot of gas but hadnt noticed a smell. The leak had obviously been getting worse.
