Can anyone tell me if it is better to park the van on tarmac rather than on grass with regards to damp?

My van is parked on grass in the garden, but i have the option of free storage on tarmac (not covered),

Your van will be ventilated by air currents rather than the ground it's standing on.

Security is much more of an issue, depending on your exact circumstances.

security isn't too much of a problem where its parked, i was just told that the van would be more prone to damp parked on grass,
