We to have been affected by the curtailment of the Barfleuer sailing between Cherbourg and Poole , we have however been offered a sailing from Caen - Portsmouth ( at no extra cost , save for the extra fuel we will burn to get there ) . But due to sailing times we will have to night stop at Caen port with the legs down in the car lanes ( which we have been told by Brittany Ferries that we can do ) . Can anybody back this up , have they stopped overnight at the port ?
BF have said we can get a full refund if we canx our xing. We would then look to using LD lines out of Le Harve , but it is extra distance to travel and cost similar to that of BF.
Hope anybody else who has been affected gets sorted .
Thanks Pip
