I live not far from here, and while Caravans do park here overnight, I can think of far better places to stay....
If you are interested in a good overnight stop near to Dover, I recommend Hawthorne Farm at Martin Mill, about 5 miles north of Dover, and under 10 minutes from the A2. Very clean site, they take tents as well, we have done weekends down there as well as overnight. A couple of good pubs that do food within walking distance. There is a railway line to the rear of the site, but trains dont run all through the night, and there is an automatic barrier that lets you out if you need to catch the early ferry.
