Overnight Stop Santander

We Arriving by ferry at Santander at 5.30 pm. We are looking for an overnight site either in or around Santander or we can drive for approx 2 hr en route to Cambrills near Salou. can anybody recommend a site for a 8metre caravan for an overnight stop.
 
2 or 3 years ago we took the ferry to Santander and stopped at a campsite quite close for 1 night. However we found that (at 7 M) we were the largest caravan on site. Next time we travelled a little further to Zarutz where we stayed for a week and found it much nicer - lovely views and great site. Not sure whether you are travelling west or east after your stopover, Zarutz is east of course.

Last year we also arrived in Santander and stayed for one night at playa Joel and had a very difficult time to get the van on to the pitch as it was very small. From Santander we take the A8 to Bilbao then the AP68 to Zaragoza. unfortunately we are not passing Zarautz.
 
What about Camping Cabo Mayor in Santander. Was due to open on 14th April. Ten minutes from the ferry.
