Overnight stop

Can anyone recommend a site for an overnight stop near to the A28 south of Rouen

The municipal at Gace is good. Bit further off your route is the municipal at Vimoutiers and that is exceptional. Excellent facilities, very clean and 100yds from a supermarket (for food and fuel). Don't tell too many people about it or it will get too crowded and I like it the way it is.

They look interesting, do you think booking is necessary for overnight stop in August?

Gace I'm not so sure about because it is in very easy striking distance of the motorway. Vimoutiers you will not need to book, although the best piches go by the late afternoon.

Vimoutiers is well worth the extra 20 minutes drive.
