Hi

Does anyone know of any sites within easy reach of the western part of the M25 or early M3 to break up our summer holiday trip down to Dorset from Lincolnshire both going down and coming back home again?

CC sites at hemel Hempstead or Denham fit the bill but you probably need to book early. There is a commercial site at Chalfont St. Giles quite close to M25 M40.
 
Me again. Have you considered missing London area by going Northampton Oxford Newbury etc. This should misslots of traffic and give you a much better choice of overnights. I suspect most of the big CC sites will be well booked e.g. Bladon Chains at woodstock, but there are far more CLs on this route than the london area.

Thanks for your suggestions. I've booked us in at Laleham park which is just the other side of the M3 from Chertsey.
