Overseas Travel Insurance

Hi Everyone

I'm just changing from a single to twin axle. The new van is 7.9m long. My normal CC travel (breakdown) insurance says caravans this long are not covered.

Has anyone any suggestions as to which companies will issue overseas travel (breakdown) insurance for vans this long?

is that red pennant you have. We have an 8m van and I noticed years ago the policy stated the same but if you ring th cc they will confirm that it is covered but the wording has been the same for years and I have often asked why not alter the wording but never have had a straight answer. Luckily we have never claimed so to be on the safe side ask them to confim it in writing.
