Hi

Has anyone stayed at the C&CC site in Oxford? We're going on Thursday for a week and I was wondering if the access is ok for a t/a caravan and if the site is level etc.

Sorry Parksy

Can't answer but when you get there, narrow entrance or not, level or sloping, please can you take plenty of photos and post on here as I've been looking at that site. I shall expect a comprehensive report too.....

Not that I'm selfish or anything...........

Oooops how rude of me. Hope you have a great time.

Can you also have a pootle round Oxford and see if there's anything in the area suitable for teenagers oooh and any good places to walk dogs. Also, could you make a mental note of the type of shops. I'm talking Debenhams, Rackhams and that sort, not Poundstretcher. If they haven't got many department stores, please could you make enquiries to see where else they have department stores, particularly shoe shops and handbag shops.

If you happen to have time, can you also have a look round for any decent thai or indian restaurants. If not, Italian will do but make sure you get the postcode (for sat nave purposes). Thanks.

Oh, can you take a trip over to the 'block' on site and have a look to see if there's a washing machine and dryer. If they have a dryer, could you see if its a domestic one or commercial and report back.

Many thanks.

Have a great time.

My wife and I were there 4 or 5 years back. Quiet site near the park and ride. Site is flat and access is fine, the site is behind a camping outdoor shop and you go through their car park. Very handy if you've forgotten something. you can walk into Oxford along the river, the wardens will be able to direct you to the footpath. It's about 30 minutes walk into the centre. Go to the river and turn to the right, up past the lock and over the river to a small village with a great pub, sorry can't remember name of village or pub, must have been good!
