Oyster Auto Antenna System. Does it really work?

Does anyone know how reliable this auto signal finder really is, and is the larger dish preferable especially when touring to southern Europe?

Not being very technical regarding signal direction etc, I had been thinking that this system would be of benefit to me.

Alternatively, are there any other options on the market that would be comparable?

Katie.

The Oyster system is a very good self seeking satellite dish.

Only downside is, if your pitch doesn't give a clear line of sight view of the satellite you may have a problem, whereas with a dish on a tripod you can move it around.

The larger the dish the better for Southern Europe.
