Hi,

We have had a PDQ since september we also bought a full size awning.

Have to say that the PDQ is fantastic. It dosent take the time that PDQ tell you it should take to put it up but you can have it up and down in a very short time.

We have put the PDQ up in windy conditions too and its very easy to do.

Just make sure if you leave it on your van to put it away as dry as posible.

We are just back from a trip to england from ireland and we used the PDQ its great to use for short breaks and would use it for long breaks too.

We got ours from towsure and there around

thanks Brenda. We met a couple this weekend at Kinlochewe who had one. they said the same. OK bit not as quick as the claims.

We may stick with what weve got. We toured Ireland a few years ago and loved it. Beautiful country. We hope to go back next year.

Coincidentally i was looking at them a couple of weekends ago, they look very good, i thought as well, too good to be true.

I was tempted to buy one there and then but being the internet scourer that i am i thought i would research them first, i was shocked to see that not many people have much good to say about them.

common problems include tearing at the top where it slips into the bag, a lack of water proofing especially at the seams and apparently poor customer service when you ask for help.

i decided to go with the porchlite xl instead and although i have not tested it in the rain it went up very nicely and fast, i also dont like the thought of that big bag hanging on the awning rail.

oh yeah, the other issue was the bag flapping on the roof of the van in the wind.

dont want to turn you off them as i have had no first hand experience but my research did not turn up in their favour.

Hi, glad i read these comments, we where away over easter and my husband fell in love with the couple's next door PDQ, he has been at me ever since to get on net to find out about them. Yes it did look very good and almost to good to be true that it goes up so quick (we missed them puting it up just have to believe what they said about 5 mins)We have a small porch awning at moment not much room just really for boots and coats the PDQ would offer more room. Not sure what to do now?
