packing it in

We are at present in the van near tewksbury and intend to head back home on sunday the third. M5 m6 across to m1 is route. What is the weather like as when we left durham beforfe xmas all snow.

Hi charlie, It is 08:15 on saturday and the area is nearly closed down because of the snow.

The main roads are really bad, It took me 35 minutes to go 5 miles this morning to get to work.

If you can wait a few days then I would. I think the A66 is closed, the A167 is fairly bad but passable at the minute.

Basically it is really bad and people are being advised to stay at home if they dont need to go out.
