Having ordered a new Sterling Elite Onyx Caravan, I am interested in knowing if anyone has used the Teflon Coating supplied and applied by Paintsealdirect, to protect their caravan. It costs £399 and is guaranteed for 5 years. It claims to make the cleaning process (including the removal of Black Streaks, Fly Squash, and Bird Droppings) much easier to carry out.

I have done the car and van with A Glaze which is a D I Y product that I got from the 3 Counties Show at Malvern 2 years ago

I usually was the van with car wash wax as well and it cleans very easily

Thanks for the info John, I have decided to use a DIY product, probably Toughseal from Eurochem. It's manufactured in Germany is distributed in the U.K., and is used and rated by Car Valeters.

Hi Dave that could work out cheaper

I once saw some paint seal tins on the counter in an auto paint factors and wondered later how the cost would compare
