does anybody tow with a panel van tranny, transporter, vivaro etc. if so have you had problems with site owners (thinking you might be pikeys). i currently tow with a grand espace but with 4 young children it is not big enough, i fancy a double cab vivaro to accomadate there bikes and maybe the kitchen sink that we seem to need these days.

We have a Transit as well as our S-max which does most of the towing, on the occasions we have used the transit to tow I have always ok'd it with site owners beforehand, some have asked if I can leave the van in the carpark, with its 125hp tdci engine the transit is a good stable towcar but not as stable as the lighter S-max when overtaking HGV's. My local garage recommended that I went for the Transit as opposed to the Renault made Vauxhall or Nissan vans. (our freinds vivaro is seen at the garage quite frequently but the transit has only been there for servicing in the past two years)
