Parking at Calais Ferry Port

Hi,
We are planning a week in France next May as we managed to get free ferry crossing with PO. at Birmingham NEC. We haven't caravanned in France for 20 years so things at the ports will have changed. .
We are planning to spend a couple of nights near and around Calais so any site recommendations would be great. Then we plan to stay at the Bois Du Bologne site near Paris which we stayed at a long time ago so any advice on this site or any others nr. Paris would be greatly appreciated. Can only stay a week as we have two very old Springer Spaniels [14yrs] to leave in kennels!

We used to just pull up in the car park at Calais on our homeward journey and sleep in van until time for ferry. This time our ferry leaves at 6a.m. so wondered if we will still be able to stay at the Calais terminal overnight.
Thanks

Chateau du Gandspette at Eperlecques (about 25 minutes from Calais) is a nice site - and takes Camping Cheques up until July, and again after 1st September - bringing down the cost of a pitch to £13.95 for two people, car and caravan, awning, electricity and one dog.
You can stay on the port at Calais overnight - lots of people do.
There are lots of other sites available, and if you do start going regularly to France/Europe then Camping Cheques and an ACSI card are certainly worth looking into!
