Parksy causes heated discussion at BBC

Yes well done .Just a pity that Dimbleby is useless at controlling the debate. There must be somebody better than him for the job. the whole programme was/is ruined by his lack of chairmanship skills.

Well said Grandad! I have never seen this programme before (don't have a TV), but if I chaired our charity board meetings like that I would 3expect to be removed from the chair.
Dimbleby is trading on his name.

I wish to nominate Damain for the job. :cheer:

The irony is I know two of the members of the audience that were allowed to speak. My views do not necessarily align with the views expressed by the speakers.

Thanks all yes t'was me
I wouldn't want more Milenco's except maybe to hold up a mirror to nameless politicians to check to see if they could look themselves in the eye πŸ˜—
Without opening a political can of worms.............
I'd hoped to frame my question to catch one or two politicos out because they've adopted similar policies to those who they continue to vilify, but of course they disregarded my main thrust and carried on as normal whilst ignoring my point completely.
It was an interesting experience, the programme is shown exactly as it was recorded a couple of hours earlier and David Dimbleby appeared to be under instructions through his earpiece from the faceless producers who could see everything in HD via about six cameras.
I was surprised and very pleased to be asked to open the batting but my spinning ball caused the batsmen to raise their bats and sidestep.

I say! Thanks old bean, I dug the old neck warmer out from the back of the wardrobe but it's back in the dusty depths again now, where it belongs. B)
