passport for dogs

Hi all

Emergency.... My daughter decided to get a dog so we need to find out fast about passport for dogs so he can get across channel.....

what is required way of inoculations and papers for that
dog chip inside
another other things - how long is this process
how it works at ports namely this time for tunnel..... but are they allowed on ferries I've never seen any...

thanks

In brief, if your departure is imminent, probably your biggest obstacle is that the animal is not allowed back into the U.K. for six months after it is given injections and they have been tested and certified to have been effective.

I don't think this is so nowadays. The system has changed and it's best to check the government website.

Dogs are allowed on ferries but, on most of them, they have to stay in the vehicle during the crossing.
