We went last year last week of june, it was like a building site. It was due to fully reopen 2 weeks later Jenny Bond was the celeb invited to the grand opening. The work they were doing looked good so the fire had a silver lining.

We first went in 1990 before the fancy buildings when it was a collection of wooden sheds and stuff was piled high and sold cheap. Was worth going for the bargains and the kids loved the fun fair part, I still think its a good day out especially if you have children but the bargains are few, they have to pay for the fancy buildings some how.

First went in 64/65 when I was a kid.

Have bought some good tool bargains over the years and the Knock Trago is a bit of a gag. The "I never go theres" are normaly one of the first you see there be it in Devon or Cornwall ;-)

Her Ladyship always pays Trago Mills a visit when in Falmouth. Once I see her heading that way I go back to my car in Church St. car park and enjoy the views over Carrick Roads and towards Flushing. If I had to pick a place to live in Cornwall I think it would be Falmouth.

Cris reading the comments on the BBC link you posted it looks like the locals are illiterate snobs and would like a place like we have here the Trafford Centre.

We'll do a swap they can have the Trafford centre and we'll have Trago Mills they both sell cr*p but the Trafford Centre put a label on it and sell it at 20 times the price also the entertainment is better at Trago Mills.
