Pays de Loire

Hi All
Have been going to this district for the last 3 years, to Avrille, Domain des Forges. We love the area, easy to get to,good weather etc but this year the aforementioned campsite seemed to be getting a bit greedy and a tiny bit shabby. I understand it has been taken over but we had a lot of hassle upon arrival.
I was wondering if anybody knew of a campsite close to this particular region which has EHU and water/waste water connection for a reasonable price. We have looked at several, but refuse to jump from 40Euros per night to 60Euros, (only one we have found close to this area!)
We have 2 children, 12 and 7 and would appreciate any suggestions.
Many thanks

HI Simon, sorry I can't help with site's but €40/€60 PER NIGHT

If you can take your holiday out of the mid July to Mid August period I suggest you have a look at the
ACSI camping card, http://www.campingcard.co.uk/gb/en/europe/ €12-€16 pn
or Camping cheques http://www.campingcheque.co.uk/ €15 pn
or Vacancsoleil cheques http://www.vacansoleil.co.uk/accommodation/pitch/ £9 pn
there are several sites that accept these options right through the season though
you will even find good deals on the ferry crossing as well .I reccomend that you have a look at each website for further info
Hope It helps TD

Thanks TD
I know 40Euros per night sounds horrific, but for the 2 weeks its a case of mains water and wastage so I can chill for a bit and not spend time filling/emptying etc. Also mid July to mid August is about the only time I can get away in the summer. Rest of the year, short breaks and so on not a problem.
When children are older (ie left home

) will most certainly be looking at out of season smaller sites.
