Page 96"our month" who on earth matched up Adele's Bessacar with a Honda CR-V when a Kia Sorento was available, the risk of her exceeding the max towing limit is painfully obvious even to a lay person, could you let us know next time this outfit is out on manouvres and I can stay home, even with the basics on board it would be *** and tuck.Denis.

It is NOT a rule only a guideline. You can run an outfit at 110% if you want as long as you are within the guidelines laid down by the manufacturer and the law. If you are an experienced tower there is nothing wrong with running at 100% and it can be just as safe as being at 85%.

Liked to test for the Grand Cherokee, now couldnt they have combined the 2 stories and let the Grand Cherokee do the towing. Just a shame they got the towing limit of the Grand Cherokee wrong, by stating it was 3360kg when in fact Jeep quote it as 3500kg (dont think that we will find a van that heavy) think they must have got their figures from 4x4 magazine. Likewise a nose weight of 327kg now that is serious nose weight, wouldnt want to load the van to that weight though would probably buckle the A frame.

I know it's not a "rule" - just used the term loosely. Just thought it's a bad advert for the inexperienced!!!
