Peages!!! LOADS OF EM!!

Travelling from Dunkirk to Notre Dame de Monts in the Vendee along the A16 via Abbeyville and Rouen then picking up the new A28 to Le Mans then A11 via Angers to Nantes of which I have counted 20, yes TWENTY!! peages along the way has anyone done this route to put me out of my misery and tell me I havent got to pay at all of them ? If this is so you wont miss me on the road I'll be driving a Sedona with twin axle van towing a large begging bowl!!!All donations gratefully received.

I think you must have put your numpty hat on Terry.

The Peages are at the exits.

You pick up the ticket where you join and pay when you exit I think you will pick up at three or four and pay at three or four when you exit from memory.

Via Michelin Web Site route finder will probabaly put you straight. Take more water with it pal, driving on the Peages is easy. A month on Peages is better and easier than 1/2 a day on the M25 most of the time.

Also, beware that most of the journeys you make on toll roads are timed. Time taken is calculated easily from time ticket issued to time you stop to pay, from the time taken your avaerage speed can be calculated, hence you can be fined by the Police on the spot if you have been speding!

With respect Geoff H. re-

"Time taken is calculated easily from time ticket issued to time you stop to pay, from the time taken your avaerage speed can be calculated, hence you can be fined by the Police on the spot if you have been speding!"

There is some truth to your statement but this is far from general, and whilst towing a caravan it is unlikely that this has any bearing at all.

Thanks people for your help in this matter.I have just unhitched the begging bowl from the van and also have just managed to sell my kids on E-bay to cut down on holiday expenditure.Happy days!!!
