Not last time we went: lots of families there. Not my cup of tea (not because it was a family site; we'd taken a child ourselves, but because it was over crammed (think battery hens) and a bit frantic. Wouldn't go again.

Not all about money.
Whilst cheap the downsides exclude any cheap prices imo.
Plenty of other better places. Eg Rivendale ; CC Buxton etc.

Does anyone recall what the phone/mobile internet coverage was at Rivendale ,have EE Dongle and O2 Mifi
EE doesnt look too good on map but might have worked

We were very surprised to get in at the CC Chatsworth house site in June. Seems a few dates still free if you can live without an awning.

we live in a town on the edge of the peak district national park the whole area is spectacular i can recommend a visit to chesterfield if you come in july you can visit the medieval market at the end of july
