Penrhos CC site

Hello everyone,

Has anyone been to this site...we are off there for Whit and wondered if the site was as nice as other CC sites we have stayed at. Any info would be most helpful. Thanks Sue

never actually stayed there, but live 5 miles away, caravan was stored next door to it,it looked very clean as you would expect,is close to the beach in a excellent location.the only thing you will need is an awning tie down kit,as it is always breezy here.come and have a super holiday,we did, loved it so much, and moved here 2 years ago

thanks....would love to live in the countryside...maybe one day. Which is the best local beach bearing in mine we have two dogs and a ten years old son who loves exploring? We are going to attemp to walk some of the costal path...can't wait.

hi,all beaches are good, treadder bay is good, but dogs arent allowed may-sept,penhros has a good beach, with a big woods and plenty to explore, with little coves all round the cliff walk,we love to go there with our 7 year old and dogthere are plenty of beaches all round the island

Hi

We stoppped on the site I think it was Easter last year, we have 3 kids then aged 6,8,8. Lovely site. Lots of things to do in the area, lovely beeches. We would go back again. The A55 from Chester is a good road, dual carriageway, it follows the coast line. Lovely views as you drive along. Just be aware that there will be speed cameras on the road. The other thing to be aware of is that the road near Conway is noted for traffic jams at bank holidays, not as bad as those in Cornwall in August. We travelled on Good Friday and were caught up in a traffic jam. There's not much you can do to avoid it. Have a lovely time

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. We tend to head to Wakes every year not been to Anglesey before. We usually stay around snowden but fancied a change.
