Permanent Pitch Advice

I have a new twin axle van sited on a permanent pitch and want to know the best way to prevent damage to the tyres. Would you suggest using winter wheels or jack up the van and use axle stands? I have read that Alko do not recommend using winter wheels as it can damage the suspension, although I know that a lot of people use these for winter storage of their vans. What are your thoughts?

our van a twin axle was on a permanant pitch for 2 yrs and we moved it for the first time last weekend, after a good inspection of the tyres they all seemed fine i think with it being a twin axle the weight of the van is spread over 4 tyres rather than 2 so perhaps this is why the tyres were in good condition i could be wrong.
