My faithful 25 year old flymo strimmer has packed up. The ignition coil system is duff. £60 for a new one :woohoo:
Madness. So I’ve , bought one of these. Note it is nearly half price. I have no commercial interest here,. Just thought it could be useful for others.

Haha ! you picked a good time to post this one! I've just spent a few hours cutting my grass and strimming it , but its an electric Strimmer and electric mower for me , no petrol stations for me ! My mower is over 1o years old and still going strong! Got the strimmer from B&M home bargains about 3 years ago £4o !

I really wish Lady Therapy had chosen that over the rechargeable Stihl that we ended up with :(

Stihl have a good reputation for their kit, what don’t you like about it? Is it battery life or just not up to the job? Be interested in your view as I have been mulling going cordless to save having to run long cables over walls and round the garden.
