Pets at Xmas

Remember ,especially at this time of the year. That a lot of our pets will beg and scavange food a lot of the time, be carefull not to let them have foods like grapes " human chocolate, etc, also too many of the doggy chews, in the shape of slippers ad bones can "gum up" their stomachs, I try to stick to giving our dogs treats like carrots ,my little one is the worst, he will eat almost anything. I dont want vets fees to sort him out through my negligence.

The only treats our three will get are raw veg at prep time and maybe a little after lunch turkey.

Our three are a silver toy poodle 12, black miniature poodle 2 and a white cavapoo 4.

Had our two, Rex,the Doodle, and Harry the Ratter. Over to Switzeland in October, First time Hary had seen snow but love it, R3x tend to just bury himself in it. Harrys nightmare , so clean , nothing to scavange, and dog rules very tight.

I keep my ( mostly) border collie off Turkey: makes her [strike]fart[/strike] flatulent. Cheese is her favourite treat, but is carefully rationed and absolutely no chocolate.

Lamb bones is a No No, for Rex. But Harry is a recycling machine, Had them on the beach at Worthing last weekend a, nightmare, dead fish and Seagulls, no food that night. Great pub, The moon in Storrington, dog sitting my nephews dogs. , glad we only have two.
Dont you love them though.

Well youngest son rang this afternoon, Christmas eve, High we will be down about 7 ish , ok no problems, by the way we are brining two guide dog pups down as they need looking after over the Xmas and New year. Oh well maybe the Vax machine will be doing overtime.

The two pups are hopefully going to be guide dogs for the blind, Varla & Varga,, 7 weeks old , being fostered over Chrimbo. 7 weeks old.

Hi , hope all had a good few days , as regard to pets , we'll just stick to our 2 spoilt Siamese cats !! Less hassle ! They to are like a vax , drop a bit meat on floor and it ain't there long !! Sleep most the day or lie in the sun - when it's out !! ( not jealous ) 😉
