O.K. Steve, now I'm being serious - you started this topic, what did you mean by it?

it really is pi**ing me off at some of the responses and replies that get posted on this forum and its time the plug is pulled on this type of forum and return to as before

Is it because people are complaining about 4x4, windbreaks, etc.

Is it because some people have a laugh and don't take life so seriously as a few others?

Is it because some people attack others, people like Kanga whose sole intention on this forum is to cause trouble?

Is it because of the likes of Daventura whose only constructive comment is "Hear Hear"?

Is it because some people complain about unfriendly people?

I honestly don't know Steve so could you please inform us uninformed what is truly "pi**ing" you off.

Now lets bed fair Chris - Daventura did manage "What a load of b****cks on the 29th Aug @ 1:25pm.

Certainly not helpful, constructive or warrented for that matter, but at least it was more than two repeated words which shows he is trying!

As an ex military man I cannot for the life of me see how saying 'what a load of b****cks' (which in this case means means 'barracks', as in army barracks talk) is offensive to some people. I know that some contributors who like to think of themselves superior (' he can be a p**t') seize upon every opportunity to try and influence others against certain other forum members. Why? Isnt it a forum for ALL caravanners, therefore includes people from ALL walks of life and with the varying personalities that goes with it as within any other group of people. Can we not tolerate anyone who is different from ourselves?

Mind your backs !! - Man on the run desperatly seeking the Moral High Ground.

Know lots of army quys - (live 10 mins from Salisbury and use the plain a lot) - never heard of the term "load of barracks".

Even if it existed - why not say barracks if you mean it. No reason to blank out barracks?? Who are you trying to kid?

Still I can recognise spherical objects when they come into view.

What a joke

Clive me old mate, when are you going to learn not to rise to the provocation of others?

Having seen lots of daventuras remarks i only see his responses as trying to lighten the chat and stop things from getting out of hand .........once again.

You never know daventura might have certain learning difficulties like other members of this forum supposedly have and you have actually stuck up for in the past.

Is it that because he is an anti 4x4 that you pick on him?

Clive can you stop this once and for all?

Hear! Hear! (for Chris). Thanks Kanga for those kind sentiments. Youre right, people dont know me and its hurtful when you get remarks made by those who think they do.

Clive,

just a thought but what do you do around salisbury plain? What with all those army men looking fetching, marching about in their uniforms. I wonder if monkey is from Salisbury? Mincing around in an army uniform I wouldn't wonder!

Your not into Samuria warriors as well are you?

Hi Kanga

Let me tell you what we do shall I

I take my Range Rover onto the plain on designated days with other from GLASS (Green Lane Association) and have fun with our "boys Toys" in an area where little irresponcible damage can be done. After all if you go of track on the plain it is possible that you could drive over some unexploded ordinance and believe me that can really ruin your day. The Army guys are great and we often have a laugh with them.

We also take those less fortunate than ourselves on Off-Road trips both on the plain and in the New Forest. This is greatly appreciated and we consider it a worthwhile thing to do and so sponsor the picnic and provide our wonderful Off-Road vehicles at no charge and also pick up the fuel bill.

Another event we go to is the Off Road day in Dorset near the Army Tank Museum (Great Place to visit - just up the road from Monkey World that has been on the telly a lot of late)

Here the Off-Road day is actually on the Army Tank Testing ground and this is truly challenging. It should be noted that "RANGE MOTORS" of Poole also sponsor this event each year and once again the proceeds go to charity.

Kanga - it is deeply sad that you cannot make any kind of contribution to this Forum that is not offensive. To say what you have intimated is truly sick.

You must have a seriously depressing life to want to somehow enhance it by being so obnoxious to others.

Whilst I am happy to play "ping-pong" with you I would strongly suggest that you sit back and take stock of your life.

You really cannot be a happy bunny.

In fact - if I had to describe you I would say you were most definatly a "bunny boiler".
