Peugeot 1.8 saloon for towing???

Has anyone towed with a Peugeot 406 1.8 Petrol...thinking of getting one to tow our Bailey 460/4....mro 972kg (19cwt)...it just fits the weight limits etc, but whats it like for towing.

Eric,

Towed a Pageant Bordeaux with a 406 1.8 petrol estate- not recommended. Weight match was extremely marginal, but it was company car including petrol! Get a HDI- loads around to choose from.

This size petrol engine unsuited to towing.
