Peugeot Partner Combi

We have a Peugeot Partner Combi 1600hdi. It is a brilliant car and tows with no effort. Its maximum towing weight is 1100kgs. We have a Bailey Scorpio 2 berth so we are Ok. It pulls up hill in Scotland in 3rd gear and is about 48mpg towing and 60mph without on fast roads. My husband has even been over 60mph on A roads - not realising it while towing. Its a great car.

Hi Chris,

I hope it wasn't you who came past me going east on the M4 last Sunday. I was doing the legal limit in my rig and this mustard coloured Partner hurtled past at about 75 mph with a van in tow, I say in tow, more like in disarray really as it was swaying from side to side quite alarmingly.

No wasn't us. We definately don't drive dangerously although as I mentioned and a couple of occcasions my husband has looked at the gauge and realised he's a bit over the limit. Thats how good the car is, you just don't realise it. He soon slows when he realises. We live and tour West Coast Scotland.
