Dean is right about lowering the front of your caravan, it helps to keep the roof clean and stops puddles from forming. The handbrake is normally left off and the wheels chocked to prevent the likelihood of the brakes seizing on.

I dont know if there is a grit shortage, what I do know is there is a BRAIN shortage in the highways department up here in Durham.

They are sending gritters out and NOT putting grit down on the roads. The plows are running round without lowering the blade and no grit coming out the back.

I did talk to one man who works on the plows and he had been told just to drive round and make it look good.

The authorities up here have the cheek to say they are working as hard as they can to clear roads. What a load of rubbish. I live on a bus route and the snow has not been touched at all. The road is still covered and is now that soft and it packs infront of the wheels making it hard to drive.

I guarantee that the poll tax will go up a lot this year with excuse that the winter was that bad they had to spend more money.

This is what this forum needs.

What a difference a few photographs can make to a blog.

I think it is obvious by the responses.

It gives the members a better chance to interact just by looking at what is going on in the picture.

There is a lesson to be learnt from this blog, this is the chance to put this forum way ahead of all the others.

Now give us all a lesson on how to place photographs into our blogs the correct way,

I think this would be of interest to many of the members.

Bob
