Yes a request, thinking about a trip to the island before June, we would like a site near a pub, but if a walk, more than 200 yards, is concerned then mobility scooter travalable, what site do you recommend. Santa Fe towing a Coachman 560.
TIA.

If with CAMHC look if they have any offers on for ferry and Southland. They sometimes have good deals.

Try Whitefield Forest Touring Park got some nice reviews in UK Campsite and they will book you a ferry for couples over 50, and receive our special over 50"s rate .

Many sites on IoW can help arrange a ferry deal - however when we went we got a better price using Red Funnel from Southampton booked online than using the caravan site's discount using Wightlink from Lymington/Portsmouth - the difference was around 50%.

Can't help with site suggestion, the proximity of pubs is no longer relevant to us.
