Planning Route

I am trying to plan a route to the south of France, and back, in the same way as I have done previously for other tours. I started off using Google Maps, but this appears to now be restricted to a maximum of 10 stops. I then switched to via Michelin, but this stopped me at only 7 stops. This leaves me with the only option being to create two tours, the second starting where the first left off, not a satisfactory way of doing it.

Can anyone offer any other solution that will allow me to complete a tour in one piece, with up to 15/20 overnight stops.

Appreciate any help you can offer.
Regards,
George

Sorry, can't help with a suitable planning tool but I just wonder why, given the restrictions, you can't just do one for the outward trip and a second one for the return?

There is another site www.mappy.fr. But not as good as the ones you are already using.

Not quite sure of the advantage of having thr whole tour on a single route sheet, but try setting up start anf furthest point on google maps and then 'pulling' the route off the suggested line to take in your other stops. May still have to have two souths, outbound and inbound,

Hello Ray & John,

Thanks for your replies. The main reason I want to have more stops is to produce a map showing the route, as I have done on all our previous tours. This is useful when showing friends what we have done and I use it for the file I keep on each tour we do. We prefer to do what I describe as 'Postage Stamp' visits, spending 2/3/4 days in an area before moving on, rather than spending a long time in one, and as we are going to the South of France, we have a few overnight stops to get us down there.
I have had a look at Mappy, but again you are restricted to only 7 stops.
Thanks and regards,
George

If you purchase the ACSI Disc you can include as many sites as you like with a printable map and schedule . It is excellent I do it every year.
