Can anyone tell me the best way to make the inner plastic strip around window interior fit flush into the corners because on mine all the lower corners are stretched across the corner like a bridge so to speak.

If I cut it with a Stanley knife I would imagine that it will render it short.

Is there magical fix for this.

Thanks

No. Any 'soft' plastic trim will only hold its length at ambient temperature. Most trims are installed by piece workers who stretch the trim whilst inserting and the trim wants to go back to its normal length, thus bridging corners. The only solution, other than replacing the trim with a new length, is to reposition the trim into the corners and have a larger gap somewhere where the gap is not so noticeable, like behind a hinge or other fitting.
