We're off to Playa Joyel Nr Noja in Spain on Sunday 29th (this W/E) anybody been recently? what is the site and surronding area like for 2 adults and 3 children (11,13 & 14). We all like bodyboarding, this is why we chose this site over La Dunas on the opposite coast. Just wondering about pitch sizes as we have a T/A but we booked campsite and ferry through CC so hopefully will not encounter too many problems. All views good or bad are welcome,

best regards, Martin

We went to This site last August with 17 other families on a CC rally.

The site is really good for teenagers (an underground disco). Tha toilets are very clean and well maintained.

Noja is a 15 minute walk away or travel on the land train.

Pitches are a good size, many of us ralliers had twin axle caravans.

Beach ajoins the site with good waves for body-boarding.

The swimming pool is not very big and swimming caps are compulsary.

Have a good holliday and take lots of sickness pills for the Bay of Biscay.

Brum, thanks for the replies...but not the sickness warning, my eldest gets travel and seasick that's why we always used Dover/Calais ferries for France, as the crossings were the shortest. We are sailing on the Brittany Ferries flagship the Pont-Aven, not sure if this will make any difference?

Nice to see they stick to the stated rules in regards to swimming caps, unlike the french sites and the issue with Speedos. Nobody was doing a Rally there this year, although one centre were going to La Dunas on the opposite coast (the Med), No Bodyboarding for them,

best regards, Martin
