I have also received an e-mail from Mrs Plotter and can confirm the posting from Lord B. He is on the road to recovery and will soon be hopping about again like a two year old.

Glad to hear Plotter came through his ordeal OK. Is his waistline shrinking yet, I wonder?

I bet he can't wait to stir up more mischief on his return!

Hi folks

Mrs Plotter was kind enough to send an email to me today with a progress report. The consultant is pleased with his progress and apparently he was undergoing surgery for over two hours, which was longer than the consultant anticipated. He still has two drains in and is still feeling tired, partially because he is having trouble sleeping in a strange bed. He is feeling ok and becoming more like his old self again now though and I'm sure that all forum members join Carole and myself in wishing the old Plotmeister a speedy and complete recovery. Mrs Plotter sends her thanks to Plotters many friends who have sent messages to her and says that she will answer them all as soon as possible. I'm not too sure if the hospital had to surgically remove Plotters posting finger from the keyboard though :0)

Hi Steve & Carole - thanks for the update on Plotter's health - it would appear that things are progressing positively and that the powers that be as well as Mr. & Mrs. Plotter are happy with his improvement. Cheer up though it is not doom and gloom - if he was to loose his typing finger I am sure he would find some other part of his body as a substitute. It will take a hell of a lot to keep a good man down.

I've just had an e-mail from Plotts.

He asked me to tell you all that he been let out for the day today on parole but has to go back in the morning.

He is then hoping to be discharged if he agrees to have an ankle tag so they can track his movements :O)He will have a district nurse to visit and he's already put in a request for her vintage.

He also thanks all for their thoughts and replies, not just for himself, but also his wife :O)

Great to hear Plotts is ok and out for the day.

Sorry to put a downer on things but if Plotter is still banned from the Carry on Camping Site like I am (for challenging the managment over inaccuracies), then I doubt he will be able to view the site.

Lisa - I have not visited the "other" forum for quite some time and have no intention to either, and to be honest I have not missed it. I think Plotter will be mature enough not to worry himself unduly about it. At the moment he has more important things on his mind. Anyway he might do him self an injury whilst laughing at the "going ons" with that site.

Bravo Colin. If only people knew the REAL truth about the person who runs it.

Lisa - I had my opinions of the site, etc. quite some time ago before I left it - had a few e-mails requesting my return but deleted them - now if an e-mail arrives I don't bother opening it - it is deleted unopened.
