Just back from a week in Cambridge, set the van up but was slightly off level across the axle resulting in water not going down the plug hole in the shower but great in the kitchen sink ,this beig due to the plug holes being on the side of the tray, sink nearest to its respective wall.
Why why oh why can manufacturers put the plug hole in the centre possibly even with a slight dished effect ,that way it will always drain even if off level.

This is always a problem as wherever you put it in the shower there are problems. The best answer is two with one at each side but that costs more money so it is not usually fitted.. We just keep a cloth in there and use that to clean up afterwards.
We do have the central plughole in the sink but even that does not work as the water will end up at one side if the caravan is not perfectly level. It is probably the best place though.

Thats the thing in the centre will not help but if the tray or sink was slightly dished towards the plug hole then it would always drain even if the van is not level

Many motor homes have two plug holes in the shower tray to aid drainage.

OH managed to stand on the shower plug hole and push it through to the outside, thus rendering it useless. He has now removed the entire shower and tray so we don't have the problem.
