Very good site, went last year and we are going again at the beginining of august this year. Friendly staff, clean toilets and showers even when site was busy. Take note the site can get windy so take a storm strap for your awning.
Been there last five years. Prefer the Giew fully serviced pitches. More space , privacy and views across St Ives Bay. Excellent facilities all kept immaculate. Lovely walk across the fields and lanes down into St Ives.
A little mini bus can bring you all the way back upto the site.
The onsite bar / restaurant is reasonably priced and comfortable. Good outdoor swimming pool.

We live in Cornwall and we go to Polmanter quite often for long weekends. Its a beautiful site we recommend the fully serviced pitches too more space and privacy. Lovely heated pool, restaurant and bar ( good food ), excellent walk to St Ives, good security barrier system. One of the top sites in Cornwall if you like peace and quiet. Patey is right it can get very windy as it is an open site. That's probably the only bad thing I could say about the site.

We stayed there the year before last. As the others guys have already said it is a great site. I've got young kids and they found the nice walk into St. Ives a challenge. The mini bus service is excellent. It was blowing a gale for the first couple of days but we were well protected by the hedges that also provide a decent ammount of privacy.
The facilities are also first class. Apart from those in St.Ives, there are also plenty of goods pubs/restaurants in the area.
