Polyplastic Front Windows

There now is growing evidence that the type of window faults being discussed in this forum are widespread. The difficulty when I started to look into the various problems was the general lack of facts, however over 700 owners have now come forward through my site www.caravanandmotorhomewindowproblems.co.uk.

A very worrying picture is starting to emerge. Initially it was thought that mostly european vans were at fault, however it now transpires that a number of British manufactured vans are affected. The delamination problem tends to show up after approx 5 years, but some owners are experiencing other faults after only a few months.

A number of owners have approached the leading caravan organisations. Dealer response is variable, some are taking their responsibilites seriously, other are trying to avoid replacements on the grounds of wear and tear and age. I must state at this stage, that we are very concerned that dealers are not taking into account, the fact that most of these faults are manufacturing faults.... As a group of owners we are gradually gathering evidence and when we feel we have enough

factual information we will consider what appropriate action will be taken.....thankyou once again for all your enquiries through the website and the many contributors in this forum.
