Porch awning help please

We have an abi jubilee vicroy 1999 we have a kampa porch awning but does not fit right , It is as if the caravan is not tall enough does any one on hear know of a proch awning that suits caravans with a lower awning rail .

If it helps we also have a smaller van (adria action) which has a lower awning rail and as awnings are very expensive we are currently using a tuscany porch awning so hopefully this may fit your abi

Hi Hazzar, many of us on here have the Kampa and I have not heard of this problem before, does yours have the adjustable legs to the front of the porch? Do you have the rear legs that are also adjustable to a certain degree although very little?
Can you measure the height of your awning rail?

I know exactly what you mean regarding the height of the caravan, caravans used to be just slightly lower and mine is exactly the same and I have the same problem, it's not the legs that are too long its the material of the awning, I get round this problem quite easily by putting the caravan on a wooden block, it's only a couple of inches too long so just raise the caravan on a couple of blocks by putting them under the wheels and job done.

Thanks for your help folks i have been pegging the awning outwards along the van end to make it fit snug but it doesnt look very good and the awning skirt and ground sheet doesnt fit now i will try the wooded block for now thanks again.

Caravans height was increased 10+ years ago by what was a significant amount for a variety of reasons ,door height, roof height inside and also due to bigger wheels, always something to be aware of when booking a ferry as they charge extra over a certain height.
