Hi all

can any one tell me anything about the quick fit Porch/PDQ awning.or the Portaporch awning.

how does the bag fit to the caravan?

We are looking for a large porch awning easy to erect and light

to transport.Have been considering the ultima 390.

the Porta porch seems similar in the picture to the 390 but fits to the awning rail in a bag for travelling .but cannot find much information on the actual awning.

jean, we bought a pyramid portaporch, this is our first year caravanning and have used it 3 times so far.

we got it in the bag and on the rail [finally] and then left it there for 4 weeks before actually using it, not a good idea as it took on some water and got caught in the door and the nice colour ran .

we chose the portaporch because it is the largest of this type that fits our van, the larger pdq and ultima 390 are too big.

it is supplied with an extra bag which we store the awning in, we then put it on the awning rail when we arrive on site, 60 seconds. it then takes us about 10 - 15 minutes getting the porch up. plenty of room for 2 adults 2 children fold up picnic table etc. excellent quality for the price, about

Hi Jean,

i've just bought an Ultima 390 and tried it up in the garden today. Its nice and easy to put up and stores away in a bag. It's not as hard wearing as a 'proper' awning though, and i felt as if i had to be pretty careful with the fibre glass poles and the zips. Saying that though i'm pretty chuffed with it. It's getting a proper test at the end of the month when we go out for a couple of nights with it,

Gavin.
