Can anyone suggest a device to stop my porch awning moving sideways when there is a strong wind. I'm sure I read about something to clip into the awning channel in a caravan magazine some time ago but cannot find it now.
Try a couple of clothes pegs clipped over the awning rail, one at each end of the awning. Will certainly do until you find yourself a more suitable clip
I`ve seen somewhere a piece of .25inch round bar about .5 to.75inch long with a threaded hole thro it, this slides thro the awning rail, where a screw thro the threaded hole holds it in position, you could probably have two made they shouldn`t cost alot.
Isabella supplied two stops with their Combi porch awnings. These clamped into the awning rail at each end of the awning. I would think that these are still available from Isabella or their stockists.
