Hi Skiddly

Why don't you have a look at the combi-porches which run up one side rail and along the top rail. I know NR do one to your dimensions, Isobella make one and so do a few others. In fact saw an Apache one on E bay last week.

Hope this helps

Did anyone read a letter in the CC mag this month where they said they got trapped in their van by the porch awning (using carbon poles) turning inside out !! They said it stayed pegged down,I'm not sure this was supposed to have happened though if it was still pegged down.

The wife climbed out of the window so they could get out. Musn't giggle but couldn't help it :)

This letter also said that they used the porch awning "during high winds". The instructions for the use if light weight porch awnings of whichever style invariably state that they are for use in MEDIUM TO MILD conditions.

Maybe they put it up inside out, and when the wind dropped it popped back the right way trapping them in the van :)
