Porch Awning

Hi there,

I have a porch awning and at theres a gap down both sides because it dosent go in the rail, i was thinking of putting suckers onto the caravan side then attaching the awning to that sumhow.. has anyone else came up with a solution for this?

Hi Rab, porch awnings either fit into the back rail and only go so far along the caravan and then down the side of the van. Some fit only on the top rail of the awning rail and dont fasten down the edges. I have what feels like foam buffers to fit in this space. They have a beading on them similar to the beading on the awning that goes into the rail. Then this fits into a double sided plastic piece that the bead goes into. Some awnings have a pole to fit from the top of the cross pole that goes from the front of the awning to the caravan. This is pushed up close to the caravan and you might have tapes to fasten the padded buffers to it.

Hope this helps you.
