Portable Compressor

Can anyone recommend a portable air compressor that works off the car 12v accessory socket ?

I want one that actually does what it claims and doesn't take an hour to inflate a tyre. I had one a few years ago but it was rubbish.

At home I have a large mains operated one in my garage which is fine but not really the sort of thing to take in a caravan !!

I have used the forum search facility but not found the answer.

Thanks

Steve

Hi Meister,

I, too, have a Michelin compressor which I keep in the car. It is very good. I think I got it from Argos two or three years ago. I bought a coiled extension cable for the extra length which enabled me to blow up the caravan tyres with the car on one side of the van and the cable going underneath.

Hi Meister

I have two sorts of air compressor one is a Michelin which have used at time to put more are in the tyres when we are going in the caravan and it seemed to take its time. I all so used it on push bikes.

The other one is The Air Monster which we have used on the push bikes and padding pool but I have not used it on car wheels yet. It all so as a DC 12V output as power pack for other 12V accessories which I used to charge the Tom Tom up with.

To have a look at the The Air Monster cut & past this
