Off to Spain again this year but am looking for a protable fridge,last year had a big cooler box working off 12/240 when on hook up but packed in.The OH needs the caravan fridge space for menial things like food so looking say for a husky type fridge for essential beers. Got to take into consideration low amps on sites.Anyone got any suggestions please
 
I was given (as a gift) the Igloo Koolmate 40. I never thought these type of cool-boxes could work in hot climates, but I was proved wrong when we hit a heat-wave in France. Running it off 12v via the mains adapter it kept the beers lovely and cold. When I use it in UK I use a mains time-switch so that it does not run continually. I left it running once and several cans of coke froze solid overnight.
