Hi Travelling from Portsmouth on a morning ferry and wondering if there is anywhere to stay either on the dock or near by the night before thanks Tracy ~
 
Some do park on the right hand side of the entrance to the port, but there are several campsites that are within easy reach of the port, and are used to people leaving or arriving at strange times. I always go to the Caravan Clubs 'Rookesbury Park'.
 
hi tracy there is a cl about 10 min's from the port it's in the ccc and cc plant farm london road waterlooville it has electric but no showers etc you can come and go as you please if you need to leave early very handy for the ferry all the best peter
 
Only just picked up your question we have travelled on the early ferry from Portsmouth many times and always get there about 11pm when the last ferry goes and just park in the queue ready for the morning everyone does it and they come along in the morning to wake you up if you oversleep!
