Possible new pastime!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of a visit by Mr Mod himself Parsy and his otherhalf. We went a ride out to the National Memorial Arboretum where there is a tree that was planted in memory of my father. At the reception they can tell you the area in which the tree is planted you can then spend a pleasant hour or so going around in circles trying to locate it (which we did eventually).

So if you are in the area with time on your hands and fancy a bit of exercise look in the book at the reception and pick a tree at random and then try and find it!

On a serious note the place is tremendous and worth a visit but it would benefit from some form of interpretation and signage.

Hi Mr Plotter

Thanks for a very pleasant trip out yesterday and we enjoyed the walk around the Memorial Arboretum in the spring sunshine.

I'd agree that the Arboretum would benefit from a few extra signposts but the staff were friendly and helpful and it was good to locate your fathers memorial tree eventually.
