an elderly lady saves up £100 to buy her family presents at christmas.
however, a month before christmas it is all stolen from her house.
she was devastated, and cried and cried and cried. she needed help, but didn't know who to turn to, so she wrote a letter to God. the letter said:
Dear God,
i have had £100 stolen from me. i was going to buy my family presents at christmas, but i can't now, oh please will you send me £100, so we have the fantastic christmas we planned.
she sticks it in an envolope and sends it off.
at the post office, the get the letter, and don't know where to send it. so the open it and read it. they felt so sorry for the elderly woman, that they had a collection for her and raised £94. they put the money in an envolope and send it back to her.
after christmas, the elderly lady writes another letter:
Dear God,
thank you so much, christmas was fantastic. the family were so happy. i will be forever grateful.
P.S i'm £6 short, it must be those theiving monkeys at the post Office!
