A useful feature I see on other forums is for a window to appear when your mouse hovers a topic, showing the first few lines of the original post...can you do it here?

Really speeds up navigation...

Having just sharpened my ageing quill, and sourced some "Quink", I can categorically say that speed and Haymarket should never be used in the same sentence.

The only thing you will get by hovering over a topic on the current forum, is a sore finger.

However,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,(drum roll),,,,,,,,,,,,we (not the "Royal"we) have been reliably informed that a super new all bells and whistles forum is on the way,,,,,,,,,,but,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,we have been told that for the past 4 years so far.

That reply has caused my quill to become blunt.

I've just started posting messages on this forum, and find that the 'Post Message' box is not much larger than a 'post-it' note, and I can't enlarge it. Is this usual? Hard to read what I've written when I have to keep scrolling backwards and forwards!

Hi Wendy,

I understand your problem. You might like to try what I usually do, which is to open my word processor and use that to compose my contributions, especially if they are long ones - (which I am noted for, then select all and copy and paste into the web sites post message window.

You can then either save the wordprocessor version for future reference or close it without saving it.,

Incidentally I did not use it for this reply.
